If you tv is blowing fuses it might mean you have a short in it. The fuses are a safety feature. Best thing to do is bring it to a repair shop. I do not suggest for anyone to open a tv without the repair knowledge.

GREEN PICTURE

sounds like one of the tubes is gone. RGB stands for red green blue. These colours are mixed together to make all the other different colours on your tv's picture. when one goes then you end up with whats left working. If tv is fairly old chances are its cheaper to replace then to try getting fixed. tv's have came down drastically in price lately because of such high demand and competition to the market.

No power replaced fuse ,str and resistor 10w3.3ohm

The components you have replaced fixed a short in the circuit which caused the fuse to blow. A different component is still causing problems. The components you replaced may have failed in a different way so as not to blow the fuse or you are close to fixing the problem. It could be a high voltage component failure or worse a picture tube failure.

Fuse inside tv keeps blowing

Hi there!
If the fuse rating is correct as indicated on the board, then the PTC is probably busy going faulty. If not sure where it is located, normally on the front where the switch is and where the coil that sits around the tube is connected to the board. Little plastic box with three pins(sometimes two) black or cream in colour. Some circuits use a disc type with 2 legs, however not sure on your set. This is called the degausing circuit and demagnetises the tube every time you switch the TV on. Good luck, JUS004

Power fault

If a fuse is blowing It means there is a short circuit inside the TV set. I suggest to check the Horizontal output transistor first and the diodes or voltage regulator around the power supply.

TV KEEPS BLOWING FUSES

means you have a part that is dead shorted after the line fuse, usually a bridge diode, regulator IC or possibly the Horizontal output transistor. Not really something a non tech will be able to find, a volt Ohm meter is required as well as soldering equipment.

FUSE SPEC FOR SONY KV-36FV16

The rear panel nameplate will state the unit power requirements. Look for number of amps draw. Let's say you read "2 A". Now, depending on where in the circuit this fuse is, your fuse size will be no more than two amperes (sometimes slightly greater if slow-blow fuse spec'ed). So, if your fuse is located immediately near the line-cord entrance to circuit board, start with a 1.0A fuse. If that immediately blows, then increase to a 1.5A fuse. Repeat until 2 A fuse is reached. If still blowing, then there is a problem with the set, either power supply or tube.
