Question about Lowrance GlobalMap 3300C GPS Receiver

1 Answer

Need to know the connector brand and the functions on each pin

I have a Lowrance 3300C and need to connect it - Have no cables or plugs. I want to do a initiation to find out if, and how it works straight with what I have. The pin references if possible from the view side on the outside. I can only find the cable color connection, but no relation of the colors to which pin.
This is also to find out with a continuity tester or ohm meter or if the schematics are available.
I appreciate a link. Thank

Because Lowrance doesn't publish the pin connections, neither in their user guide, neither on a convenient website - this is really a breakpoint for me - I checked GPS connector suppliers and I found different plugs, type and connection codes in Europe, where information comes with the unit as a EU - norm

Perhaps your usb cable is defect?
Also the USB connector in your device can be defect.
If a new cable does not work, you should investigate the connector. I don't think it is wise to repair a connector, because it could be you can buy a brand new Tomtom for the same amount of money, you spent when going to a repair centre.

My LCX15 MT will not turn on

If the power connections are good and clean, you can get a volt meter to test power through the power cable. Unplug the power cable and test for 12VDC across the two big female pins. If you are getting good power, then the LCX-15MT is toast and it will need to be replaced. If you can get a hold of Lowrance support at 800-324-1356 or email at http://www.lowrance.com/en/Support/Product-Support/Contact/ you can get a rebate toward a current model.

Power to Lowrance GPS

Hi,

Yes you have to hook up the red wires together to the + and both black ones to the negative, otherwise the antenna won't be supply in current , and don't forget to insert behind the red wire a fuse and a switch to avoid to discharge your battery .

Lowrance 3300c still playing up

John, my 330c was doing the same thing until I found a short in a totally separate system. It was a speaker for the stereo. As soon as I fixed it, the flashing problem went away.
