The dryer has a loud, high pitched squeek

Hello Robin, thank you for your post!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire dryer is making a loud high pitched squeaking noise. This noise could be coming from your belt, motor, or spider arm. In order to find out which component might need to be replaced you would need to disassemble the dryer. We would recommend having a professional technician out to perform a proper repair. Improper disassembly of the dryer could result in personal injury or a problem with the dryer later in its life cycle. I hope that this information is helpful to you. -Matt

My frigidaire fer231cas2 makes a horrible loud noise after its been running for 10 or so mins

There are rollers that the drum sits on. The roller surface or bearing can go bad causing the noise.

Drum makes loud banging noise.

Maybe the heat in your dryer over time has melted weak glue and loose components are hitting against the drum

My dryer makes terrible noise when tumbling. It is a loud squeaking noise. Is it a belt that needs to be replaced?

Loud squeaky noises are usually a dry bearing--in this case, probably the one(s) that hold up the front of the drum. Open the top to inspect, then remove the front panel to replace or repair. Hope this helps!

MAKING A

Hello
Some dryers use a motor driven drum.If there is a piece of belt missing this could cause a thud noise.

Also the drum rests in rollers,if a roller is missing or worn this could also be your noise.

We have a Frigidaire FER211AS2 dryer that started making a loud humming/roaring noise. Hubs replaced the bearing and drum belt. The noise isn't quite as bad but it still makes the same noise. What could it...

Check the alignment of the belt. Humming/roaring noise usually comes from a bearing, so your husband got it right to change the bearing and belt.
Now, he just needs to make sure that the belt is aligned right and the bearing is properly seated. Also check for rubbing marks around the travel area of the drum.

Beko DRCS68 condensor dryer is making loud vibration noises

hi there......when you replaced the drive belt you most likley disturbed the drum on its bearing seats (small plastic curved units) or indeed knocked 1 out altogeathrer...this would account for the loud bearing or metallic sound...it may also be the rear bearing these tend to eventually rund dry and fail..

Loud noise when dryer runs

Two items on two different dryers can make this noise. One is the belt tensioner pulley and the other is the bearing on a Frigidaire dryer.
