I think when you are sending the data that the cables might not be put in the wrong way with the sending to be B and the receiving to be S or your calculator might have a bug.

My Compaq Presario CQ56 has calculator that keeps popping up when I press the arrow keys or the numerical keys. Please help!!

Well what I really wanted to know the most is if it pops up while you\'re not even touching your mouse or keyboard...

If you changed your .exe to .com like I said and it came back, then it\'s normal... ... Just delete the file. Don\'t worry, calc.exe came back on its own so the we made is now useless. That\'s why you can now delete It\'s also just to reset what was in your old calc.exe, in case it has a keyboard shortcut and other hidden stuff integrated.

Still gotta make sure though... Can you right-click on calc.exe and choose "Properties" to see if there\'s any keyboard shortcut? The field (shortcut key) should be left blank in case there\'s something in there. Or to "None".

IF the calc.exe still pops up while you\'re not doing anything, then it\'s time for some hijackthis.

Get it here:

Do a system scan and save a logfile.

After the scan is over, copy all what\'s in the list (notepad), and post it here.

Let\'s take a look at what\'s running.

Why does my t- 84 give a data type error when I ask it to write 9/(2+3i) as a fraction

For a moment I was puzzled by you question. After trying several configuration changes I finally figured out what the problem is.
You get the DATA type ERROR if you use the MathPrint templates (the two stacked squares).
In Math or Classic IO you can display complex fractions as fractions, just do not enter them through the template you access through the ALPHA F1 key combination. You can do that even for the older OS's (1.12 ). and with the number type set to REAL. Use the usual linear way. You do not need to set the calculator to CLASSIC..

How to use the calc-clean button

Calc-Clean function
The Calc-Clean function removes scale and impurities.

To do so, set the steam control to position '0', set the temperature dial to 'MAX', and fill water tank up to the 'MAX' level. Then heat up the iron until the pilot light on the handgrip goes out.

Remove the mains plug from the wall socket and hold the iron horizontally over the sink. Then press and hold down the 'CALC CLEAN' button.

Move the iron forwards and backwards while boiling water/steam squirt from the holes in the soleplate to wash away impurities/scales.

When the water tank is empty, heat up the iron to dry it.

Finally move the iron to and fro on a piece of cloth to dry the soleplate. Repeat the process if necessary

Dell Calculator Hotkey

Verify if multiple calc works if you launch it from windows, without using the hot-key. if that does not work, its a windows issue - might need a full repair / install. If windows is able to launch it - you can fix the issue by reinstalling any drivers for your kbd.
