Re: NO Scan Options
This happens mainly when you try to scan from the printer ; Always try to scan from HP solution center but still here is
the resolution: Open Hp Solution center Click on Settings Click on scn settings click on Scan to Setup Select all the option available to updrade the Front panel
menu list and click on ADD Click on Update; Restart the computer and the printer and try to scan. It should resolve the issue.

The scan options are on your computer, you need to have HP scanning software running to tell the scanner how to scan the document where to send it and how to save it. No options means the scanned image would have nowhere to go.
install the software first and then you will be able to scan its just that the scan options are not getting detected from the software on the computer that assigns the scanning options.
IF the software is installed then open hp solution centre and point to settings. Then point to scan settings and click on scan to setup and move all the items on the left to the right by selecting each one and pressing the right arrow button and click on ok and now check you will be able to scan
This is a HP hardware/software error and HP has not fixed it.
The C4250 may report that "USB is not connected" but the printer works just fine and when you use the Microsoft Scanner and Camera Wizard to carry out a scan, it works just fine too. So the error message is wrong.
The Microsost Scanner and Camera Wizard can be found on the Control Panel.
From each computer, you need to run the HP Director. When opened, click on SETTINGS, then SCAN TO settings to configure. This way it will transfer data to the scanner so that when at the scanner, that computer will be in the list of places to send a scan job.
You can download the Vista driver for your all in one HERE.
Hope that helps!
