Headphones

By Powe33 - usenet poster

I got my first gig coming up and I know the headphones I have won't be up to
job. Could somebody recommend a good set of headphones as I don't have any
spare time at the moment to go and listen to loads. Budget is not a problem
providing I get the right set.

Any help would be great .

Thanks in advance

Chris

Probable a little late on this form... but i got a pair of rp-dj1200 and they suck.  I used them a couple times for djing and just personal use. The right speaker is now cutting out and its only been over 2-3 months

Hi Chris ! I use Sony V-700's Supposed to be the best you can get at
the moment however they are a little pricey. Try # they have
stock.

I bought a pair of Pioneer DJ5000, very flexible (rotate, revolve, swivel, the
works) and very comfortable for single ear monitoring, they've got that earpad
thingie which I don't think I'll ever use. The store manager (also a DJ highly
recommended them and they sounded pretty fine, better than the HD25sp's. Anyone
heard of or used the pioneers?

Dear Chris,
Don't buy anything unless their Senhiser (preferably HD25sp's). You may
think their a little on the expensive side but you won't gwet a better
pair of cans for the cash.

Hope all goes well at your first Gig.

Technics DJ 1200's or whatever, something 1200s fold up, can't blow
them up, sweat proof, been using 'em for a couple of years and they rule.

Where's yer gig then Chris?
