How do you change the control board on a sirius su900 range hood?

It sounds like your new board is faulty or there are bad connections to and from it.

You will need to remove the entire range hood to access the motor.

the fuse on the unit may have broke or the breaker for the unit ay have tripped, check the breaker and if thats fine check the manual to see if there is a fuse and where it is located. If it is the fuse you can get a replacement at your local hardware store.

Check for power in and out of the main control board...sounds like the main board has fired...if you have power going in, but none coming out then the board is bad..

Yes, I am on my third motor in a SU 4/ Sirius is brutal to deal with. All of the motors are **** and they are always back ordered. here in Canada the distributer change around 2008. They are through Maroline and a crappy company to deal with unlike the othe people in Oakville. Service sucks for such an expensive and beautiful stainless hood. Good luck and the motor does come off...

I do just spray with degreaser first then rinse off.
Then you can wash in the machine without worry of clogging up the unit.
