There is 1 screw on the back right hand corner of the icemaker remove this screw then remove the wiring cover that this screw held in place. the icemaker will then slide straight out you will then unplug the icemaker at the wiring harness and be able to completely remove icemaker. thanks for using  fixYa peyton

Samsung refrig model rf26xaebp stopped making ice but i still bet water thru the door

The solonoid valve for the ice maker may be faulty or the icemaker may be froze up. Try thawing out the icemaker with a hair dryer. If thats doesn't fix the problem you may have to replace the soloniod or ice maker control. Be sure the arm above thre the ice bin is in the down position. Hope this helps.

Ice maker not making ice , we have water in the dispencer but no ice

Is the icemaker turned on? Did someone bump the on/off lever/switch accidentally?

If not, if you put your fingers in the ice tray, is there water/ice cubes? Unit may be froze up or the waterline may have froze up. Pull your food out and turn off the fridge and let the icemaker and waterline thaw. Speed it up with a hair dryer (caution that you dont melt plastic or wires).

Icemaker not working

Its probably the water tray not filling. On the back of the freezer, there should be a hose that goes into the ice maker - remove the screw that holds the tubing in place, and gently pull out the hose. Let it sit for about an hour - chances are, you stopped using a lot of ice, and the water in the fill line to the ice maker froze. Once that's thawed, water should be able to flow again.

While you're behind the refrigerator, there may be an envelope with instructions for the ice maker - specifically, how to start the cycle. After the water line has thawed, you will want to start a cycle and verify the water is flowing. You should be able to hear it flowing.

Hello DeWayne,
That hose that connects to where the water comes out as it cycles, the end of it where it goes to the top and enters into the freezer/icemaker is frozen and needs to be removed and thawed, you could take that hose off at the water valve and blow through it if you can not blow through it easily its defiently froze,if once you thaw it it becomes froze again within a couple days up to a couple weeks the water valve where that hose connects to at the bottom is bad and causing it to freeze and that valve should be replaced.

I hope this will help you to get your icemaker working,
Gene

Ice maker and hose from back of fridge to it both frooze up.

Good day,
If the fill tube overfilled the ic maker and is iced itself, it is due to the water valve in the bottom rear leaking slightly after filling the ice maker during a normal cycle. The water valve will have to be replaced. However, it will take time and patience to get it thawed properly.
The ice maker should be removed and set aside to thaw out completely.
As well, the fill tube must be thawed out itself very carefully. Haste makes waste here. A hair dryer can be used but very sparingly since it's possible to start melting things you don't want melted.
Ideally the machine should be shut down but that's your call.
Once the new valve is installed and the machine reassembled it should be fine.

Turn ice maker off for 24 hours to thaw out any additional frozen lines.
Make sure that you do have water from source to unit. Water valve grit screen may be clogged with debrie or water valve is bad.
