Does the machine run without the battery that is, on the power pack alone ? If so, it is either a dud battery or charging circuit (needs repair by pro) .
If the machine will not run on power pack alone, then the Charger Port is likely broken. Plenty of youtube vids show how to change it.
Ok if this is the same as 300M, Chrysler LHS the battery is on the left side of engine compartment some of them are in the fender area of the wheel well and very difficult to reach, sometimes the tire has to be removed and wheel well area loosened and on other Intrepids the battery is under the air breather box, you just remove the large air intake hose and air filter box as the battery is located just under that area. this one seems to be located on the passenger front just behind the headlight.

numbers. Just carefully remove the tape, and you will see JCMOS right
next to two flat copper contacts on the motherboard. Just get a set of
tweezers and touch both contacts at the same time for few seconds.
Replace the memory sticks, close the memory compartment, replace the
battery and turn on the laptop. it may work
Believe it or not, it shows no diagram of the computer components in the user manual. I found a picture of the battery and based on what I see, the battery is located on the side of the computer. Look for a small battery release on the edges of the computer or near the edges of the bottom of the computer...
