Are you saying that your cable box won't let stuff show on your TV? Or do you have a problem with your Dryer? You should never mount a TV in the laundry room if there is a chance the TV could get wet, or that you could become fixated by the TV and never finish your laundry. I'm just saying...

Good Afternoon Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your question!

An error code E64 is associated with the heater circuit in the open position. A technician would typically check the heater coils and connections for short circuits to the cabinet to determine if this is the cause of the error code. Depending on the readings, the heater and/or wiring will possibly need replacing. This is not a normal DIY job so you may want to connect with a local servicer to determine the exact diagnosis to help reduce the risk of unnecessary parts. I hope this helps explain the error code you are receiving.

Power button will not go on

Most likely there is no power going to the machine. please check and make sure that the power cable is sucurly set in the power outlet. If power still does not come back on please find your home/apartment breaker box. Find the one for washer/dryer and turn it off wait a few seconds and turn it on.

NOTE Make sure your hands are dry before touching anything inside the breaker box.

Going from 4 wire cable to 3 wire in older home on my model 110.68932792 Kenmore dryer. Need to know if possible or not.

The four wire cable is a redundant ground, It is an added safety feature. You can do this if the code does not call for 4 wires.

Dryer stooped working suddenly.

Replace the fan belt that turns the dryer drum. Use only the genuine replacement spare part for your dryer.

RCD trips after different period of time

Sounds more like a fault developing as the cable heats up due to poor connections.trip operates about 30Ma ot .03 0f an amp which is a pest but good in its own right. If you referring to one socket then remove that socket and check for any loose burning leads,Check the fusebox again for any of the above, good idea to run an independant earth around 10 mm cable to main box just in case earthing is bad..hope you get on ok.

The dryer runs, but there is not ant heat.

Sounds like your element went. Unplug and take off the back. You will see a grey or silver rectangular box with red wires coming out of the bottom, this is your element box. remove the element box and the wires that go to it. put the box on the counter. the element array comes out of the metal box with a couple more screws on the box. Study the element array for the broken element, you should see it. Call the appliance parts store or take it in to them and I think the element was pretty inexpensive (30.) good luck

Dryer is not drying the clothes

I had the same problem that I just fixed. I removed the serial cable weeks ago. Unplugged and plugged cord to reset computer glitches. If this does not work. UNPLUG cord, remove the terminal block cover for cord connections. With a AC volt meter and plastic kitchen gloves, plug in, turn on dryer and check voltage. Red to Black 240+/- 6 volts. Those terminals to center 120+/- 3 volts. UNPLUG CORD if good voltage. With dryer de-energized you won't need kitchen gloves. Next take out 4 screws that hold Back-splash, lift and tilt forward. There is a wiring diagram inside. Plug and unplug each cord one at a time. Take care to not to bend prongs. My problem was a parallel cable that had a bad connection. Unplugging it and plugging it back in was all it took to fix the problem. Good Luck.
