I have wired my ps3 up to the pc to use my T-mobile broadband stick. I can get my other games to work n the net but when I try pro evo 09 it is telling me to assign DMZ. Does anyone know how to do this?

Re: pro ev0 09 not working on the net
Are you using a router to connect your computers to the internet? Your router holds all the info for your LAN. You can get into the router software via your web browser, and find the ip assigned to the ps3. Next put that ip into the DMZ of the router. POst back if you have questions so I can walk you through it.

Do you have a PC you can check your speeds from? PSN really needs about 10mbps to function correctly, but I have known them to work on a slower connection. Are you running it wired, or wireless? The wireless radio can sometimes kick you out if it sometimes stops transmitting, or you are out of range. I recommend this site to check your speeds. look for a net gear router and dont bother buying a N+ its not worth it for starters its a scam it even says on the news so get a net gear G wireless router and its roughly £35-50 but its worth it, buy it from amazon or from a argos or littlewoods site. im hopefully going to get wireless in christmas time, so ill hopefully add you some time soon you can contact me thru here for my name if i do get online
You'll have to connect your computer to the Internet and then share that internet from the computer to the PS3. Hopefully this will get you started. You can google for guides. It's not hard but it will be a pain that first initial time.
Easiest way is to get a 3G router like a Cradlepoint CTR350. You can then connect either wirelessly or wired. Otherwise you need to enable ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) on a Windows machine and run an Ethernet cable from your computer to the PS3
yes , these type of games are known as copyrighted games which dont allow you change , copy , edit thier original location. there are two ways in which you can copy them mto a memory stick.... Either try to download the game to memory stick directly without installing it on ur PC or Second way is to check whether the game is in a read only mode or not There are illegal ways to copy them to memory stick... There are hacking softwares available on net thru which you can by pass the copyright that is applied on the game . but....... not recomemnnded at all. ( Not recommended )
hi ive got my ps3 hooked up with a wireless conection so feel free to ask any questions. you need a wireless hub to send out the wireless broadband signal. is your pc set up with a wireless connection to broadband?
Yes you can! After 10 days of trial and error I finaly cracked this problem on sunday. Since then I've had several lag free hours on COD4 and RFOM with smooth play and no dropped connections. Now I'm not a techie but I will explain the best I can. I use 3 mobile broadband. First open your Network Connections. You will see the 3 modem, ignore this for now. Further down you will see 2 ethernet connections, Local are connection, and 1394 connection. Right click one of these and Bridge the connection. Then open the properties of your 3 modem and under Advanced click on internet connection sharing. Install your ethernet cable from the back of your computer directly to the PS3. On your PS3 network settings search for the new connection. On testing it should work. Hey presto your online. I use win xp on my system and it usualy works fine. Sometimes you get a DNS error, keep retrying, if no luck, restart your pc, connect your 3 service and you should be good to go. Hope this helps, good luck
now then or you hav to do is plug it to your pc go to internet connection t mobile properties then advanced allow to share to other connections then plug your cable to your pc from your ps3 you might have to turn your windows firewall off or just change the settings if you dont want 2 turn it off
