My Golflogix course manager software will not connect to the internet so that I cannot not search for and download courses. It worked in the past but in the last week or so every time I click on search it just sits there and will not connect. PRJ

My Golflogix keeps on searching for satellites. Using it for the first time, do I need to be on the course?

No, you do not need to be on a course for it to acquire satellites, however new units sometimes need to be left outside with clear sky view for up to 30 minutes to fully acquire signals.

I keep getting an error saying I am not connected to the internet when I am.

You need new software. go to http://www.golflogix.com/WebSite/GarminHome.aspx and click download software at the top of the screen. Run the second download software, but NOT the first download driver. make sure you close the Course Manager on your computer first.

Unit does not respod to course manage after updating software

Restore unit bookmark

Go to the help button in the upper right hand corner of your course manager. There will be a bunch of questions that appear down

the right hand side. The bottom one should say How do I restore my golfgps. Press that, and press the button that comes up that

says restore. With the gps plugged in and turned on, and with fresh batteries in it, it will quickly move to say that your gps has been restored. Press Ok, and

turn the gps off , count to five, and turn it back on. It should now recognize your unit again.

I'm connected to the internet, obviously, i've turned off my firewall, and when i try to search for courses, the message is "cannot search for courses", you are not connected to the internet, or...

Maybe you still have another firewall like windows firewall, mcaffe, norton or zone alarm. You can simply allow the device's IP address on the trusted zone settings of the firewall. You don't need to disable the firewall.

This is an error on THEIR end. More than likely, your unit id in the upper right hand corner of the course manager says FFFFFFFF. Call them at 1-877-977-0162
