If you have new, correct (for your printer) cartridges, it sounds like they are bad. Take them back to where you bought them or contact the Lexmark Technical Support Center (TSC).
For TSC, go here: http://support.lexmark.com/perl/support/support.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:0:0:0 and type in X4580 in the SEARCH BY MODEL box. You now can see options to call, email, or chat with Lexmark.
