Question about LG KU990 Viewty
Hi. Could you help me, please. I bought Nokia 5310b in California December 2008 (IMEI 359813010354010), but I still can't use it. I didn't think, that it'll trouble me so much. When I insert my SIM, the Phone ask me to enter restriction code!!! What is it? Can you help me to know this code! Your early reply will be very much appreciated.
Most likely, when you purchase the phone it is by default locked to the provider who issued the phone. Im facing the same problem atm. So far, the only results Ive come across require you to actually purchase an unlock code from a 3rd party 'dealer'.
The only other option Ive encountered would be to contact your provider (At&t or T-mobile [or other SMS providers]) and state that you are leaving the country and need your phone adaptable to your new environs. But, the only issue with that, and im not 100% sure at this point, is that the 5310(b) phones and others similar cannot -be- unlocked.
Hope this helps, and if anyone finds anything, post back.
