Washer will not fill. Water runs for a second and then stops.
Problem occurred after I ran a load of sheets and one blanket. The load did not spin completely. The load I have in currently is just one set of sheets. I checked the manual and the hoses are not kinked, the drain hose is OK. The machine goes on.
Machine is 3 years old. I only do 2-3 loads per week. The washer and drier are stacked.

I have the same washer and it will do this if I have put a load of clothing that is not even in weight for example I washed sheets with a heavy blanket and I then had to run the Drain Spin cycle. Hope this help
Unplug machine, remove water pump and motor, behind the motor is a coupler, take broken parts to your local appliance parts store. Costs 16 bucks, replace the broken parts with new ones, reassemble machine. Never ever do a blanket/comforter in your machine again!!
I don't know if the problem is solved but last night we ran the washer without any clothes in it and everything seemed to work fine. My wife was able to run a load of laundry and it seemed to work. I hope it was just too much clothes the first time it stopped or the washer was just acting up. Either way, I had nothing to do with the fix. Sorry I couldn't be any more help. Thank you for the link to assistance plan, it might come in handy in the future.
When the washer initially fills for the wash, is it only hot water entering the drum? Try switching the water temperature between hot and cold as it fills. If any of them show little or no water getting through, it sounds too easy but check to make sure water supply taps are on, and that the cold/hot fill hoses aren't reversed. Remove the fill hoses and check any of the screen filters for blockage (in the hoses and in the inlet water valve). When the machine stops and waits to fill but all you hear is a hum, it sounds like there is power going to the valve but water is not able to get through it. Good luck!
Remove the plastic hose from the water level switch and blow through it until it flows freely.
If it does not clear this way. Remove the front panel.putty knife needed.
Remove the water level tube from the tub and clean out the gunk.
Reconnect it to the water level switch.
Set the machine to spin and run it.
Reset water level control and try your machine.
The washer drew half a tub of water on the "Bulky items" cycle, and stopped. All the lights on the cycle dial light up and flash, the machine beeps and the me error message in the "estimated time remaining" field is "Ld". I've tried to shut the machine down and change the cycle to "drain and spin" but it will not agitate, won't drain or spin.
the timer, if your washing machine fills with water and begins
agitating, but the timer never advances--or if the washer is in a spin
cycle and the timer won't advance. Then you need to replace the timer.
may be a cold-water supply problem, if the washing machine fills with
water, agitates, drains, and spins, but then doesn't fill with rinse
water. See There's no cold water.
