My dryer just stopper turning on. I brought he starter to Home Depot and they said it is fine. The metel peice in the door still clicks so I know that is not broken. Any idea why it will not start. I took off the back panel and it looks like all of the wire are connected fine.

You might have to replace the catch. Ours is held on with 2 screws (the piece on the dryer not the door).
Take it to a place like sears or maybe Home Depot and see if they carry it. or they can order one.
I have a gas kenmore dryer... the drum runs- it blows air and for just a few minutes warm air but after a few minutes the air is cold. I have cleaned the vent checked it good. I didn't see the fuse on the back I have the bottom latch open and see several wires that can be disconnected; snap together.
check the door switch and door latch. Open door, set the dryer to air fluff cycle, and manually depress the door switch. Press start button. If it started - door needs alignment to fix it. If it did not start: If your dryer has light inside - check if light turns off when you press the switch. If not - switch needs replacement. If all that checks out ok - the problem is more serious, and you might need a tech to come out and diagnose it.
HI. if the timer is running, and the wiring harness is in good condition, this will confirm motor failure. I would advise to test the operational value of the door switch as well but if the door switch is working, this will only lead to motor failure.
The only source of a gas leak from inside the dryer itself is the gas valve. They can sometimes leak a little gas when you first turn the gas on after hooking it up. If your gas pressure is normal (and I'm guessing the plumber checked it) and your other gas appliances are working properly, the dryer gas valve is faulty and should be checked by a qualified appliance servicer.
