Check the power to the relay and pressure switch just remember the problem lies where the power dies.

No Heat

The acid test would be to "jump it" and see if the heater functions normally. That's where you bypass the limit, taking it out of the loop. If you determine that the limit is the problem replace it, do not use the heater with the limit jumped.
Otherwise it may be the heating element itself. They do go out after a while.

Can I change out a Hayward H400ID with an electric heater for the spa only? If so what electric heater product brand would you recommned. Raypak?

Hayward has manuals for each type heater, gas and electric.
Hayward also has contact page, and can probably recommend correct change-over product.

You want to switch from propane to heat-pump type.

There are likely 3 areas of difference. Read each manual and generally look for 1) unit size and capability to match spa 2) pipe connections and sizes 3) Electrical requirement

From electrical standpoint, You need GFCI-protected line from circuit breaker box, or GFCI (arc-fault) breaker. This will prevent electrocution risk around spa.

Wire sizes are based on volts and watt-rating of heater.
Each electrical device has rating plate showing volts and watts.
3500 watts divided by 240 volts = 14.5 amps so install double-pole 20 amp breaker and use 12 gauge wire.
1500 watts divided by 120 volts = 12.5 amps so install sinle-pole 20 amp breaker and 12 gauge wire.

When first installed, the connection was not done properly causing the wire to burnt and shorten the circuit. it was all corrected, but now it does not heat the water, elements seems to be ok. could you...

Start with your breaker. Be sure to shut it completely off before turning it back on. Then start checking the power all the way through the circuit. The 220v will follow through the main contractor to the element. If you have good power there make sure the high limit is reset by pushing the button in. This is a square disc on top of the heat cell and probably has a rubber disc that corresponds with it on the face plate on the outside of the heater.
Then check the 110v that comes off the side of the main contractor and runs through the switch, the thermostat and any other components. If the power stops at any of these, then that is your problem. If no problems in this circuit then pull your element and check it again.

Just replaced the heating element on my Raypak 1102-2 Turned the unit on & the on light didn't come on. Did i replace the element for nothing? What could the problem be THANK YOU

Check your high limit. This is the reset switch behind the rubber button on the face of the heater. It probally tripped during the process and didn't get reset.
