LG TROMM Gas Dryer has intermittent rattle noise while turning
I have a LG TROMM Gas Dryer that was installed just over a year ago. Recently it has begun making an intermittent metallic rattle inside the unit (like a loose screw) while the drum is turning. No errors on the display, and it makes the noise whether on timed or sensing dry setting. But it doesn't seem to make the noise if there are no clothes in the dryer, as if weight has something to do with the noise. The unit is stacked on top of the washer.
Is there a way to open the unit to look inside, or any idea of what may be causing the noise?

this is most likely a broken wheel which is a wheel that the bearings have worn out on.If it is a wheel you should replace the set because if you replace just the one the others will wear out faster than they should. Ps if it is only two years old it may still be under warranty!

If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating
the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows
sometimes it is still not working properly.
Hi, I am using LG Tromm DLE2514 washer dryer. It 's running but didn't dried the clothes. I clean it's lint but still it's not working. The one thing i notice now is it's drying light is blinking and cooling light is turn on all the time during the cycle. So what's the problem with my dryer?
There maybe a lot of lont build up in the blower wheel housing. Take off bottom panel and take apart the blower wheel house and check for any lint build up....if it check ok, your drum rollers maybe worn....try checkin the blower wheel housing...hope this helps
if the threads are ruined on the dryer unit itself, id reccomned calling in an lg authorized repairman. if it has to do with gas line installation go with a liscenced plumber.. why mess with GAS in home.
