You should be able to. Use your photo-processing software, bring up each image, choose "save as" and save them back on the chip as the destination. There's no particular reason to do this, however, as the photos will not improve in resolution beyond their state on the computer. It's easier just to back them up on a USB drive or external hard drive if you just want "insurance" copies.
Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, etc. from MP3 Player -----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hook up your mp3 player to your computer Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer" When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there. Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible. Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release, right click and then click on "Delete" Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want. Start deleting pictures base on how good they are, importance and priority. Then by trial and error delete 50 pictures, download; 100 ... 200. Finally it download ... after 10-15 seconds wait. Total pictures deleted 1700 out of 4200. So there is a limitation on this type of camera with a 2GB chip, you have to stop taking pictures and change camera chip when the total count reach 2500 + or - 50 pictures.
This means that in order to take additional pictures, you need to use an external memory card. To clear up your internal memory, you would want to use the supplied usb cable to upload the pictures to your computer. Or you can delete these photos and this will also clear up memory space, but you would be able to retain the images.
