You have to pull the chassis out and it sits on top. Also there are 2 squirrel cage fans that cool the bulb, be sure to blow these out, especially the supply fan, its gets caked up really bad and then there no air to the bulb which makes the thermal switch trip. Theres also two other computer type fans a larger on which is out in the open on the right side and a smaller on on the left as viewed from the rear of the TV. The small one is burried, you will need to pull the tuner to get a good crack at it.
