For some reason it seems that explorer.exe isn't start. I would start by rebooting into safemode. After the bios boot screen, but before the windows loading screen repeatedly press F8 to bring up a menu. Try safe mode with networking first and run an anti-virus scanner. Usually virii and other malware tend to do this.
Hi, Two beeps means your motherboard RAM having some problem. If you have two RAM install .Try to remove one and keep another . Start your system and chek , if still problem is not solve better to contact with tech person.
YES WHEN YOU BOOT UP LOOK AT THE OPTIONS,HAVE TO DO IT FAST IT WOULD BE UNDER RECOVERY OR YOU CAN SCAN FOR PROBLEMS LOOK AT THE OPTIONS IT SHOULD SAY RESTORE TO FACTORY CONDITION BUT YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE A USB HARD DRIVE WHICH IS EASIER TO SAVE ALL YOUR PERSONAL STUFF MAKE SURE YOU TAKE YOUR TIME AND DON'T MISS ANYTHING THAT'S INPOTANT TO YOU FIRST.THAT'S WHAT I DID.GOOD LUCK
Install winXP on another partion. Transfer your imp files to a different partition. Restart and reinstall the OS on C drive. After successful installation by only deleting the system files, your MS Office will still be there. If u have kept a backup of all files(i.e. complete installation and not typical) then try uninstalling fro the Control Panel and u will get the option to modify, repair or uninstall the software. Click repair & enjoy...sodeep
This password thats its asking for is upon first boot I assume before windows even trys to load. If thats the case theres a jumper on the motherboard that lets you reset the bios/cmos killing out the password and setting it back to factory stardards. You will have to goto dell.com and hit up there support section for a manual on were exactly its located but this will fix your password issue.
Boot the computer into safe mode. Run full-system anti-virus scans to ensure that the system is virus free and to remove any infections that may be present. Reboot system.
Instructions for booting into safe mode: 1) Start system 2) As system is starting, press F8 key 3) Boot menu will come up asking how you want to boot - choose Safe Mode and press ENTER 4) Your computer will start with limited services, no internet connection, etc. This will allow you to check the system and scan for viruses without interference from non-essential services.
Let us know how it turns out.
Hope this helps. Please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.
