Question about Canon MultiPASS MP730 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I cannot figure out how to scan and email pdf documents using the Canon MultiPass MP730, it will only allow me to use jpeg. Is there additional software that needs to be installed or am I missing a step? Please help!

Scanners scan a document in picture format(JPEG) dot per dot. Their are complete programs out ther that will scan a document and turn it into a text fine. They are far more expensive that just copy a picture of some words on a page, Typical scanner function. I hope I have explained it well.
