Question about GE Profile JTP18 Electric Single Oven
After our light bulb burned out in our GE Profile Convention oven, we replaced it with a new 40-watt GE appliance light as recommended in the Owner's Manual. After screwing in the light, we expected it to work. It didn't. Any idea as to why the light bulb wouldn't work after replacing it with a new one?
Thank you for your help.

With a volt meter you must verify power to the door light switch and the light socket.
You can also unplug the oven and do this with a meter set for continuity.
