Dont know anything about the following

Poker stars wants me to save log files as zip save file to desktop click on attach file select zip fil check of and send it. I am 78, visually disables, am alone and know nothing about pc'scan you help

Good evening sir:
sir what they are wanting you to do is to save a file to you desk top the zip file is your way of keeping track of the your game ect ect ... that is ok it is self explanitory once you get the file .... once you see the file on your desktop the only thing that u have to remember is the exact name of the file just incase the file on the desktop does not work cause it can be sent to any folder that you want to send it to also ok well i hope this has helped out a lot any other questions feel free to ask ok best regards mike

When i open an attachment in my email i goto windows media center i need to goto the attachment i'm tring to veiw how do i get back to viewing the attachment ?


What type of attachment it is? Is it JPEG(image), or Word File or , Excel File? To open the file type you should select the proper application. You can try the following thing while opening your e-mail attachment. right click on the Attachment which you have download and select Open With. It'll show you the list of application through which you can view your attachment. In your case i thing Window Media player is selected by default that why when ever you try to open it keeps on opening in Media Player.
First try to know what type of mail attachment you are getting, If you have Word file then select Open with "Microsoft word", If any image then Select "windows picture and fax viewer".
If it is a .PDF file type then you should open it with Adobe Reader(IF you don't have Adobe reader then You need to download it from net to few it.
Similarly if it is ZIP. file then you must have Win ZIP software to open it.

Trying to uninstall nero 7 essentials in my laptop, shellmaneger is missing


http://www.nero.com/eng/support-nero7-tools-utilities.html download the tool and follow these directions
  1. Download the file "infotool.zip", save this file to your desktop.
  2. Extract the zipped file on your hard drive using WinZip or WinRAR.
  3. Double-click on the EXE file to start the Nero InfoTool.
  4. The window "Nero InfoTool - Retrieving Information" will open. Please wait until the progress bar has moved completely to the right. The window "Nero InfoTool" will open.
  5. Click the "Save" button (the disk icon at the top). The window "Nero InfoTool - Save/Print" will open.
  6. Please activate all the check boxes (Drive, Disk, Configuration, Software, Hardware, etc.).
  7. Click the "Save" button. The window "Save as" will open.
  8. Name the file and select the "TXT" format as the file type in the dropdown menu.
  9. Select in the "Save in"-dropdown menu the "Desktop" entry.
  10. Click the "Save" button. The Nero InfoTool will be saved on the desktop in the "TXT" format.
  11. Close the two windows "Nero InfoTool - Save/Print" and "Nero InfoTool".

Hi i want to install the chinese,japanese and korean language!! but i dont have a xp cd... what should i do??


  1. Download the files needed to install the East Asian Languages here: http://www.4shared.com/file/HZ2CQc0I/east_asian_language.html
  2. Extract the I386 folder from the Zip file to a folder on your hard drive. Remember the location of this folder.
  3. Click on the Start menu, open Control Panel, then open Regional and Language Options.
  4. Select the Languages tab and under the Supplemental language support frame, check the the box next to "install support for East Asian languages".
  5. Click on Ok or Apply, then you'll receive a dialog box which says that "The following file ' - ' is missing.." and it also allows you to specify a directory where it should be found. Click on Browse and select the "I386" folder you extracted from the downloaded Zip file.
  6. After the files are installed, you must restart your computer.

What video driver do you use in Acer Aspire SA80 with SiS FX/GX Mirage Graphics


The SiS driver that Acer offers for the Aspire SA80,

A) Select Product Family
Left-click on Desktop

Left-click on Aspire

C) Select Product Model
Scroll the side bar down, Left-click on Aspire SA80

There are Three VGA drivers listed. You won't see the 3rd one, SiS, until you scroll the side bar down.

Left-click on the orange square to the left of this driver file name.
(Has a white down arrow pointing to a line)

A small window will come up.
Opening VGA_SIS_6.14.10.3680_Xpx86.zip

Now go below, and click on OK.

I suggest you save the file, instead of opening it directly. It is a Zip file, and you may not have an Unzip program on your computer, to 'Unzip' it.

(Zip file is a condensed file. Used to send large files over the internet. You have to un-condense the file, or Unzip it)

If you do not have an unzip program I suggest download 7-Zip. It's free.

Go to the place the Zip file downloaded to.
Either My Documents, or on your desktop screen.
(Start>My Documents. Could also be in a sub-folder of My Documents>Downloads)

Double-click on the file name. (Be sure you have an Unzip program installed before you do)

Follow the simple instructions of the unzip program.

Please download and install the latest version of HijackThis v2.0.2:
Download the HijackThis Installer from this link: HijackThis
1. Save " HJTInstall.exe" to your desktop.
2. Double click on HJTInstall.exe to run the program.
3. By default it will install to C:Program FilesTrend MicroHijackThis.
4. Accept the license agreement by clicking the "I Accept" button.
5.Click on the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
6. Click "Save log" to save the log file and then the log will open in Notepad.
7. Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
8. Paste the log in your next reply.
9. Do NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet! Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
Please download SmitFraudFix from this link http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/Smitfra... Then extract the contents to your desktop.
!!!! Only run option #1 as runing the other options on an uninfected computer will damage the desktop.!!!!

Open the "SmitfraudFix" folder and double-click "smitfraudfix.cmd"
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).

Can't restore system to an earlier time, stuck on current.


Which firewall and Antivirus running on your PC?
Do you have MS Office installation cd then go for recovery of Outlook.. just click on add remove program for Outlook and then click on repair and put the CD in. Hope it will work in this. 
Otherwise send me the Hijacklog file of your PC. (use other email account for mailing such as hotmail or yahoo)
Please can you download and run the following program http://www.neurosoftcorp.com/analyze2.php
Save it and install it on the desktop.
Run the hijackthis program and click on "DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOG FILE" Button. (Despite the program name – This is a standard tool used by PC technicians to examine malicious files)
When the scan is finished, it will automatically create a log file and open it in Notepad program.
Save the log file (a text file). Most of what it lists will be harmless or essential, don't fix anything yet.
Please send the log file to me as a text attachment (its called Hijackthis.log - and located on the same place where you install Hijackthis program as above)
This will help me to locate malicious programs and other corrupt files on the PC.

Hello Again...

Install the InstallShield InstallScript engine. To do this, you will need to click on the following link to download the IsScript.zip file:

When prompted to Run or Save the file, select the Save option and select a location to save it, such as your desktop. After the file has completed the download, double-click on the file to open it. Extract the IsScript.msi file to a location, such as your desktop. Once that is extracted, double-click on that file to run the IsScript installation. After this installation has been performed, reboot your computer and try to install the software again.

Site wont open


somehow the yahoo site is blocked..Ok try this In the drive you have installed ur OS search for the file named "hosts".When you find it open it with notepad and in that search for yahoo.com..If it is there in the list..then just remove it..It will be something like..
127.0.01 www.yahoo.com..And then just save(dont select save as because it will be saved as a text file) and that should do the trick..
Let me know what happened before you rate..
