Have the bose cinemate system bought the same new remote does not work

Turn on Bose CineMate: Ensure that your Bose CineMate system is turned on and in the proper mode for operation (e.g., TV or AUX mode). Enter programming mode: Press and hold the "Setup" button on your Spectrum remote until the LED indicator on the top of the remote turns on. Enter Code: Use the number buttons on the remote to enter the four-digit remote control code of your Bose CineMate. The LED indicator blinks to confirm the entered code. Test control: After entering the code, point the Spectrum remote at the Bose CineMate system and press various buttons (e.g., volume up/down, power) to see if it controls your Bose system. If you can't get this to work, I suggest you try to return the remote and buy and harmony remote. For me it worked very well with everything including old audio amps and you can configure your own activities.

Ive had the same problem, basically happens anytime we lose power or if it gets unplugged. Great speakers, poor design. Im not having any luck this time. Gonna try leaving it unplugged longer, like days this time. The remote feels like the problem, any button just causes the TV/VCR/AUX/ect row to blink, can't program it or anything. Seems like this is a common problem

Step 1:
Press and hold the AUX button until all mode button back lights come on, thenrelease.

Step 2:
Use the number buttons to enter the code for your Bose Cinemate Digital HomeTheater System. These are the codes we currently have: 656, 761, 639, and 664.

Step 3:
Press the POUND (#) button. If the code entered is valid for the remote, themode light flashes three times.

Try this site. They have replacements for most all devices. If the name brand (OEM) is too high priced, they have exact copies of an off name brand that would be an exact match. I bought one for my HD TV and it is just like the original that came with the TV. Check it out!!!

I would contact ur nearest Bose dealer or Contact the company through the website to get a replacement remote, you will of course need the serial number for the product when you contact them, using a universal remote can make things easier but you will not be able to access most of the functions without the original

We just got a Bose Cinemate system and have the same issue - none of the listed codes for the Synergy V work.

Make sure your system is not plugged into a surge protector. Sometimes a surge protector will foul the system up, don't know why. lol. I fought with my system for 3 hours trying to get it to work, then moved it from my surge protector to the wall and it came on. If that doesn't work, try disconnecting the receiver module itself, wait 60 sec, then plug it back in. If that still does not solve the problem, I would suggest calling Bose Customer Service..

The Bose codes for Comcast remotes for both the Cisco (labeled Xfinity) and Scientific Atlanta (labeled Comcast) DVR remotes are 31229 and 31933. 31933 worked with my Bose CineMate Series II

I called the company and they said that I had an "original" remote and that they would send me a remote with extended codes. Hopefully that will work
