Are you familiar into the parts inside.?

if not, i will not advised you t do this.

-inside you can see the memory strip/module, resit it again on the slot.

if you are using an external video card, better to resit it too.

let me know.

I have an X2Gen MW22U monitor. While using, I heard a heavy static sound, then the monitor went black. I can't get it to work now. I disconnected the wires and then reconnected. Restarted the computer....

You should powercycle the Monitor.
Unplug the printer from the power and press and hold the power button on the monitor for 30 seconds. (It wont show anything)
Try the same again than.

Monitor keeps stating no signal

Need to eliminate possible causes. Easiest way is to try your monitor on another computer, if it works then that is ruled out. Try your computer with another monitor. Try another cable between computer and monitor (both yours and borrowed one). The problem can be the monitor socket and wiring, the computer socket, wiring or program and finally the connecting cable.

Reset the cmos usualy a jumper, or remove the batery for 10 min, it might be a videocard problem, try another videocard. It might be a memoryproblem.
If you hear bleeds google for biosbeebs and that will show you wich bleeb is what error.
If all else fails change processor and powersuply or finaly the motherboard.
Good luck!

HP desktop monitor problem

hi try this ,,,
  1. Ensure the video cable is connected (and connected to the correct video port).
  2. Turn off the monitor using the monitor's power button and then restart the monitor.
  3. Cycle the power on the monitor as follows:
  4. Turn off the monitor. The power light on the monitor should be off. Leave the computer turned on.
  5. Unplug the power cord.
  6. Wait 5 seconds.
  7. Plug in the power cord.
  8. Press the power button on the monitor to turn on the monitor. One of two things happens:
    1. The image from the computer displays on the monitor and you can use the computer again. This indicates that the monitor was unable to detect that the computer had awakened from suspend mode. Turn the monitor off when it is not being used or disable suspend mode. For some computers, updating the BIOS corrects these types of suspend problems.
    2. The power light on the monitor comes on but the screen displays one of the messages again. The monitor is not receiving a video signal from the computer that it can detect and use. Continue using these steps to adjust the Windows display resolution to the Monitor's native (default) resolution
    3. Connect the monitor to another computer that you know is working to determine if the monitor should be serviced or replaced:
      • If the monitor displays an image from another computer, you know that the monitor works. Troubleshoot the video connection and graphics adapter on the computer.
      • If the monitor remain blank when connected to another computer, the monitor signal processing hardware may be bad. The monitor should be repaired or replaced.
hope it will work for u .. little_angel
