Return button? You mean the button on the left of the big Touch Pad?
Usually called the Back button?
Call 1-877-438-9863, get your device registered with them, and see what they can do to help. You may need to fill a Repair ticket and have a new Zune sent to you.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

My computer wont recognize and install my zune 30 gb, and i dont have the installation cd

Try resetting the Zune device. Hold the back button and up on the middle button together for about 6 seconds. That will reset the Zune and then plug it back in. It should be recognized then.
If the reset doesn't work for you, you may also want to take a look at this support article from Microsoft.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/944909/en-us

or try reformatting if all else fails (keep the firmware!)http://www.zuneboards.com/forums/zun...binations.html

My Zune 80gb all of a sudden just stopped working after I fully charged it one night. I woke up to the media player turning on but only showing the dark blue back light. It was completely unresponsive...

the display may be broke,

i very much would like to forward you to the manufacturer's hompage at:

https://service.zune.net/en-us/signin

if Microsoft can't help you and
warranty does not cover the device anymore,

i fear u may end up
with an mp3-player that has biiiig storage space or an oversized thumb-drive.

I hope you get lucky...

My zune just stopped working

run the battery completey dead or you could possibly reset the device to factory default...

Try this....
Reset Zune: Press and hold the back button while pressing up on the control pad.
Connect Zune to a power source: If the Zune device is in sleep mode, this action will wake the Zune device and turn it on. If the battery does not have a charge, you may have to wait several minutes for the Zune device to turn on.

Also, make sure that the hold button on top of your zune is turned to the off position.

Hope this helps!

Connecting zun to car stereo

Short answer, nope. Completely different connections. You'll foul the Zune if you try it. Unless the iPod connection plugs into the headphone jack, but even then, I wouldn't.

Broken lock switch zune Pink

My zune lock switch completely broke off in the locked position. I used a paper clip to remove the small plastic tray under where the switch use to be. It came off pretty easily. Then I could see a small black toggle switch can I was able to flick it in the unlock position.

Music stops and zune freezes up

uhm i think i may have found your solution, that is if your using limewire or some client of the sort, i synced my zune while the program (limewire) was on and downloading music and i had the same problelm you did so i simply deleted all my music and put it back on the zune while limewire was off and now it works fine, i have an 80 gig btw if that matters
