No sound coming from av outlets

i recently had a professional tv repairman replace the convergance board chips. now i have no sound coming from the av outlets on the side or rear of my tv.

- sorry for the confusion, it is the input jacks. when i plug playstation 2 or wii into my dvd recorder which is connected to the tv through the tv antena in, i get sound. but when i connect to the av inputs i get picture but no sound.

- also my model is philips 60 inch (60pp9910/17) not a 46 inch

Most of the jacks on the back and side of this TV are inputs not outputs. You must send audio into the TV thru these connectors to make sound. Ther is an audio output jack on most TVs in the rear. If you mean to say that you can't get audio when you input it from a source like a DVD player or HD cable box, that's an entirely different matter.

Please check TV Menu and settings, there would be an option to switch TV audio out On/Off
