Question about Zebra Printer 140-751-00000

1 Answer

Part of the tag does NOT print out.

We use the SAME tag in Loftware on SEVERAL different zebra printers but only ONE of them does not print out the whole tag. It does not print the first 1/2" of the printed area.

It is a Sub-inventory transfer tag that is created in Loftware.

Other tags are printed on the printer that we are having problems with and they print out just fine.

We have checked the tag and the printer for issues but can not come up with a solution.

This is a scanned copy of the problem tag. Now if we print a different tag on the same printer it prints all of the fields all the way across the tag, but for reasons not known to myself this tag always cuts off the first 1/2 inch of the print. We use the 140 Xilll plus all over the plant and I have even replaced the printer but the same problem happens on just this tag. ANY ideas on what I can do to fix this would be helpful.

DID YOU CLEAN THE PRINT HEAD AND BRY IT GOOD, CHECK THE SOFTWARE.

MAKE SURE THE MATTERAIL IS THE SAME FOR EACH TAG, DIFFERANT TYPE OF MATERAIL WILL GIVE DIFFERENT TYPE OF PRINT AND THE FINAL PRODUCE WILL BE TOTALY DIFFERENT.
SEE IF THE PRINT HEADS HAVE THE SAME CLEAR-INES, SEE IF THE HEADS HAVE APART THAT CAN MAKE THE PRINT A BETTER PICTURE OR BETTER QUILITY OF PRINT.
SEE IT THE PRINT HEAD HAS ANY TYPE OF HEAD ADJUSTMENT, REQUEST A SERVICE MANUAL FOR THIS TYPE OF ADJUSTMENT AND YOU WILL NEED SOME FILLER GIUDGES TO MAKE THAT SDJUSTMENT THE SAME ONES YOU USED TO FIX THE OLD CAR WITH THE FLAT SILER ONES

Increasing Speed on Zebra 105sl

If you are refering to print speed, from the label format, press F5 to bring up the LABEL & SETUP PROPERTIES. Click on LABEL OPTIONS and print speed will be the first choice.

If you are refering to how fast data is sent to the printer, then that depends on the connection to the PC and whether you are using true-type fonts or not.

Hope that helps !

Loftware labels printing off staggered.

Most reasons for this is a slight adjustment problem with page length. You can recalibrate the printer via the menu system, doing it this way will adjust the sensors with new settings

Zebra TLP 2844 label printer only printing left row of labels

I am not sure what you are describing here, if the prints are left justified this is just a setting. If you are saying that the print doesn't come out on the right side there could be several problems. Please find a qualified engineer to assist

Just one of the double tags is printed on

I assume by double tags you mean 2 labels across the roll.
You need to tell your software that the roll is 2 across.
If using the software that comes with the printer, Zebra designer.
Set your label width to twice the single label and copy the barcode so that you have 2 across the label, then print

My zebra LP2824 Thermal printer is driving me nutty. It skips tags between each printed one. I'm printing on thermal labels that are 1.1875x3.375 (2 side by side) so the total measurements are 2.375x3.375....

possible is not the best printer to work on site-by site labels because the sensors that read the gab are on the midle of the label and possible can't check wen the label start and end. try the printer S4M (sensors on lenf side), or try normal labels and press the botton until flash 2 times and release the botton (calibrate).
