with a recovery CD kit containing Operating System Recovery and Driver/Application
Recovery CDs. These CDs allow users to either recover or repair the tablet's operating
system and select drivers without losing personal data. The Operating System CD
also provides the option of reinstalling the operating system software provided
with the tablet.

Use a USB keyboard and do a system restore. Use a USB keyboard to access HP.com and search for a download there. Use a USB keyboard to backup, reformat, reinstall factory image.Takes longer, but probably best overall fix, HDD may have a few bad sectors and format will fix or avoid them. May be a great time for a 7200 RPM drive and some more RAM! 2Gb RAM and a high speed drive will breathe a bunch of life into a great tablet like the tc1100.
