Usb ports do not work. Windows does not recognize them.

IT may be time for a new systemboard. This is a common recall issue with the dV6000. If you wanted to be sure, you could reinstall windows just to verify everything is okay there.

Hi, my system not working properly.

I don't think this is a BIOS problem. Sound more like you need to re-load windows and start from scratch. Make sure your USB is turned on in the BIOS.

Usb ports no longer work...

Have you tried a restore to an earlier date, choose a date on which the ports were still active. Click start, click all programs, click accessories, click system tools, click system restore, choose restore my computer to an earlier time, select date. You can also roll back drivers by clicking start, click control panel, click system, click hardware, click devise manager, click on universal serial bus controllers, rt click on your usb port if it is there and choose update driver. Good luck.

this problem for that i know is caused from this :
one your controller that controlling your usb ports is finished, and with this is coming more problems not oly usb ports,
second you prompted to install something but you didn't. go to control panel system, devices and one time you are there click on your computer name in begining of the list. after that click in action and then scan for new devices, if nothing is found in the list go to universal serial bus controllers and see if is finded there no name usb or unknown usb device. if this isnt helpin you fixing problem try to install again your system but without destroing that you have to not loosing to much time, in setup window dialogue select repair but the secon that appear not first one.
