- Conclusion
In conclusion, I believe that AVG anti-virus is the best free anti-virus software and is also the best paid-for anti-virus software because their updates are frequent and I have not yet come across a virus that could not be removed by AVG. They are also devoted to finding new viruses on the internet and finding ways to remove them as well as finding out what they do to ensure the best protection for you!

ClamAV ranks in at number two for anti-virus software on my list as it can be used on a server which is great for businesses and schools which require a server.

Number three on my list is McAfee anti-virus because it also has frequent updates and they have a large team working on fixing bugs and errors as well as discovering new viruses.

Number four on my list would have to be Norton anti-virus simply due to one fact: once you install it, you will not get rid of it unless you format your computer which would remove any viruses anyway.

So there you have it. If you are looking for free anti-virus software or paid-for anti-virus software, you are better off going with AVG!

I hope you enjoyed my tip about which anti-virus software to use. Thank you for using FixYa! Have a nice day and please remember to rate this tip.

Best regards,

I want to play my games on this computer. How do i get them on this computer

Depending on your Computer and game, I would need more information.
What game is it, what is the program, is it not installing or is the CD Rom not displaying a CD/DVD in the machine.

If you downloaded the game like Sim's, is it for Windows XP , Vista, 7 or 8 and if yes, how much Ram does it need, since you may need to upgrade your Ram in your machine.

Make sure that you have the recommended requirments for the game.

My download speed randomly spikes causing my internet to lag and giving me a few mbytes to use

well, First I have to ask what is your ISP and what is your internet speed supposed to be? If it is in fact 1.5 Mbps then you may need to upgrade your internet speed to say 5-10 Mbps.

Also, What applications are you running? Such as Internet Explorer or Firefox? Internet explorer can be nuisance. Things such as Anti Virus Software can hose up your internet speed if you have only 1.5Mbps as well. Hope this helps. If you have other questions don't hesitate.
