Question about Printers & Copiers
I have a HP laserjet 4250tn -
Tray 2 is loaded with A4 letterhead
Tray 3 is loaded with A4 plain.
Our accounts system requests that 1st page print on letterhead from tray 3 and 2 other copies on plain from Tray 2.
Last week all was OK but something has changed and all 3 prints come out on plain.
From Word/excel if you request a tray letterhead print it still prints on plain, therefore indicating it's a printer issue rather than a application problem.
I have tried different drivers and uninstalling printer and re-installing - this makes no dofference.
Any ideas ?
Do a paper path test from each tray in diagnostics on the control paneland check Printer Properties for PAPER HANDLING

Set tray (3? ) or other non standard paper type trays to type setting of letterhead and set normal paper tray (2) paper type to plain .
You do this on printer keyboad find menu then find paper handling, tray xxx, paper type. xxxx...set or tick
Via operations panel you can also printout current settings too to see if you have done the change if you do one before and after
There are other settings on your printer that can effect this and driver configuation and doc type setting on pc that can effect this also but try step above first and report back if still having issues. Is it run by a server? Do you abity to change driver settings on your pc?
