Question about Acer Computers & Internet
I've removed my slave HDD, Seagate 400GB Barracuda 720 in old PC (Windows 98) and try to install it on a PC running windows XP. but can't seem to make it work, so i've plugged the HDD back into the old PC. now, the old PC don't recognize the hard drive. BIOS detected it, Device Manager detects it, but it has no drive letter. and My Computer doesn't show an icon for it.
On XP computer install your seagate barracuda 400g. start the computer. when xp is already boot right click My Computer then select manage. When Computer Management dialog box appear click disk management. Look for the drive that is unallocated and format the drive and follow the instructions.
