Execute dcpromo to convert a win2003 to a domain controller.

Global catalog is not replicated by default to the new promoted 2003 domain controller.

I have a user running Windows XP SP3 with Office 2003. The problem is Word minimizes suddenly without any notice and the user doesn't even have to touch or do anything. I have gone through repairing Office...

Change the keyboard, just in case the keyboard is randomly sending a sequence of characters (ALT+space+underscore, or Windows-D) that Windows interprets as "minimize".

Disconnect the network-cable, to prevent any computer "hacker" from having "remote-control" of Windows.

Setting up Terminal Services on Server 2003 at the head office of a client in a workgroup environment, no Domain Controller. The branch office wants to log in through a VPN Router ( Linksys RV042 that has...

Assuming you can connect via Remote Desktop without any issues...
Printing through Terminal services requires that printing be enabled in the Terminal Services Configuration (Client Settings Tab). It also requires that the printer driver be installed on the Terminal server, not the actual printer (as it shows under the control panel) but just the driver. You can install just the driver by going to File/Server Properties under Printers and Faxes ON THE TERMINAL. Install the printer normally on the client machines.
Note: For a printer to work via Terminal services it needs to have a compatible driver (which I believe is called PCL??) So some consumer printers (the ones that only come with Setup programs, not just driver packages) will not work. The majority of HP Officejets and laserjets are fine, as are Brother lasers.

I can't open may exel 2003. please wait while configures microsoft office professional exel 2003.

There is something not installed that it needs. If you have the Excel CD, try putting it in then running excel. If this is a corporate laptop/desktop try to connect to your company's network and running "advertised programs" in the control panel. If there was something related to Excel that hasn't been pushed to your computer, it would be pushed then.

Hope this helps,
Bill

I am trying to upgrade our Department from Office 2003 to 2007

You can use Files and Settings Transfer Wizard or User State Migration Tool. Also, with that size of an environment you should consider hosting your own mail and use Exchange. Also, are you in a domain environment?

I do have i mdb file on 1 pc and i need to shared wit 3 pc

First make sure all 3 PCs are on the same workgroup or domain. You can verify that in the System Properties, accessible by right-clicking the My Computer icon and selecting Properties, then selecting the Computer Name tab; below the Full Computer Name will be the domain or workgroup.

Once all 3 PCs are on the correct workgroup/domain, navigate to the folder where the file in question resides, and right-click the folder itself (not the file) and select Properties, and then the Sharing tab. From this tab you can select to share the folder, and set access restrictions if needed, and then the other 2 PCs should see the new share in their Network Places within a few minutes.
