Problem for Canon PowerShot A700 Digital Camera
Video shooting went from color to b/white - how do I get it back?
All my video shooting on the Canon Powershot A700 has been in color up until now, all of a sudden it went to black & white. How do I get it back? I've gone through all the menus for all the different modes and can't seem to latch onto the right menu to change my B/W back to color.

- Thanks, but still having trouble. Here's my sequence: I turn on the camera, switch to video mode, press the Function button, and all I get on the left side icons are "drive mode", fps, and 640x480 icons. I have gone through all the modes and done the function button thingy, but so far have not come across the "My Color Mode". The only thing relating to color, was Color Accent. Need further help and step by step instructions please. Thanks. Aw.Solution #1

Press the Function button and scroll down to middle (fourth) icon on the left side of the LCD, the My Color mode. Is it set for BW or C? Use the left/right arrow key to select OFF. Press Function again.

- OK. When you are in the video mode, does the movie mode icon show just a silhouette of an old time movie camera, or is there an A (color accent) or S (color swap) included in the icon? If there is an A or S, select the icon and use the left/right arrows until the letter disappears. Then press the Function button.Yes
