Question about Cuisinart Limited Edition Metal MP14 Food Processor
TOOK THE PROCESSOR APART ... CHECKED THE SAFETY SWITCH AND CORD ... ALL IS OK BUT NO POWER FROM PRINTED CONTROL CIRCUIT
You should not have taken it apart - that unit has a fantastic warranty. Call Cuisinart and get it repaired - don't even hint that you took it apart, or your warranty is void.
jo82 - here is how to test your motor to be sure -
Remove the workbowl completely, plug the base into the wall outlet, turn the machine on, take a pen and press in the little black/dark gray button on top of the base. If you hear spinning, then the motor is fine.
If the motor is fine, put the work bowl back in place with handle facing fromt of machine, lid lined up with bowl, and pusher sleeve with metal element lined up with front of machine.
If the motor test failed, call Cuisinart and get the unit repaired.
