Hello,
The calculator is clearly suffering. Maybe not enough memory or too many calculations, or batteries weak. Remove the main batteries, not the backup and restart. Once in a while clean the RAM.
Hope it helps.

There is no button for the theta symbol only a common key for variables x,y,z, a,b. It is customary to use the symbol theta to represent an angle, but people may use any symbol they want because the variables are called DUMMY variables.
So if you have some calculation that involves a dummy variable called theta you can use any of the variables available on the calculator to represent it.

How do I get my casio fx300es plus to give me square root answers instead of decimal?

To calculate the square root use the square root key, three rows above the "8" key.
If you want to see the result symbolically, press SHIFT MODE 1 to select the MthIO mode. Bear in mind that the calculator can only show some results symbolically.

Find theta on TI-30XS MultiView calculator... I can't :(

No, your calculator does not know a variable called theta. But what is theta but a symbol to represent a variable. Usually it is used to represent an angle in polar coordinates. It is just the usage and it is not really essential. You can do conversion from polar to rectangular coordinates and from rectangular to polar coordinates but it does not matter what the angle variable is called.
Go ahead, do all the calculations you want that involve an angle. If the calculator can perform them , they will be evaluated correctly and the name you give the angle value (alpha, beta, theta, iota...) is immaterial.

If i press 0.5*0.9524=476.2m and i want it to give me the result of 0.4762

You have turned the Engineering display mode ON. In that mode, the power of 10 that are displayed are multiples of 3. In your case the m stands for milli or (1 thousandth).
To exit the engineering ON mode, press the Mode button, several times (4) until you see EngON, EngOff. Press the corresponding digit key to turn off the Engineering display mode.

How do you do y equals 2x to the 4th?

Do you want to graph the function? y= (2X)^4 or y= 2*X^4.
If you want to graph it
  1. Open the [Y=] equation editor.
  2. On first line where it says Y1=, type the function using the [X,T,theta, n] key to enter the X symbol (the key is under the [MODE] key and above the [Apps] key.
  3. Press the [GRAPH] key on the top right corner of the keypad.
If you want to do something else, you will have to be more specific, because DO is not precise enough.

How do you put degrees mins & secs in a ti 84 plus

The DMS symbols are available under the ANGLE menu
Press [2nd][APPS] (ANGLE)
Under that menu you find the degree and minute symbol. To enter the seconds unit you use the key sequence [ALPHA][+] (")
To enter 1deg 15 minutes and 37 seconds
1 [2nd][APPS] [1:deg] 15[2nd][Apps][2:'] 37 [ALPHA] [+]

To enter a number in decimal degrees (eg 15.37)
  1. If angle unit is the degree just enter 15.37
  2. If angle unit is the radian , you must specify the angle unit as degrees: To enter 15.37 degrees you type 15.37 [2nd][Apps][1: degree] [ENTER].
To convert from DMS to DD and from DD to DMS, you use the sequence [2nd][Apps][4:|=>DMS].

We are graphing more than one line at a time. One

To return your calculator's graphing equation to "Y=", press "MODE" from the home screen, then ensure that the option on the fourth row is set to "Func". Next, to show a hidden graph, access the Y= list, then press the left arrow key until the cursor is over the "=". Press "ENTER" to toggle visibility of that line.
