Question about Logitech QuickCam Pro 5000 Webcam
I have a QuickCam Pro 5000 and I use it almost exclusively with Skype. In order for my webcam to work I have to reboot the computer and then make a call. As soon as that call is made the webcam will not work again. When I close Skype and try and open the webcam it says, "Webcam is in use by another application." I have checked and there are no other applications open. The only solution I have found is restarting the whole computer. I just removed/reinstalled the drivers.
Any ideas or solutions are much apprecitated.
Check device manager and update driver
have you set cam up with skype
Go to TOOLS, then OPTIONS, and click on
and set the Microphone and Speakers
to the computer Audio Card.
Then click on the Video Settings.
The camera if installed properly
will come up and show a picture.
Then on the bottom of the page click on Save.
