Question about GE Refrigerators
I've had the refrigerator now for 7 years and has worked fine. Now, the water dispenser does not work. After about 6 weeks, it miraculously fixed itself only to let us down after about 2 weeks. I'm stumped...I've tried all the troubleshooting suggestions in my owners manual and even some that I've seen posted online (such as hair dryer, etc.).
One of the following items is most likely the problem.
The inlet valve. The dispencer switch. the water filter, or the water storage tank.
If the ice will dispence then you can eliminat the dispencer switch. If you have heated the tank in the freshfood section then you can eliminat the tank. You may also have a frozen water line. The most common would be the inlet valve. it is located on the back of the refrigerator. It is the item the water line connects to from the wall. You can feel free to give us a call and we can help trouble shoot.
