Question about Televison & Video
I just got a Philips 55in projection HDTV and there is a green haze that will show up in the middle of the screen and the words are not sharp are kinda hazy like.
The coolant in the chambers that are part of the CRTs(picture tubes) has been contaminated by foreign matter and the high temps created by the CRTs. The coolant can be replaced but its an expensive and time consuming operation. Some of the parts needed for this repair may also be no longer available. I'd start shopping.
