You can remove or change the Window's User or
administrator's password and privileges. You need access to a computer with
Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD.
Then insert this CD into the laptop-computer and boot up
the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions.

I have a utility I use whenever I work on someone's computer who has forgotten their PW, or have inherited it from others, etc. and don't have the PW. It might help with your trouble. At the very least, it won't help and no harm done.
You can download from my website at;
Simply save the file to your computer and unzip it. Make sure there is a 1.44mb floppy in the floppy drive and run the install.bat file. Then reboot from the floppy drive and follow the prompts. The program will blank all Windows passwords and you can then reboot and enter a new PW or not, as you prefer.
Possibility of a solution, but you gotta trust me on this. I won't beoffended if you ignore this or scan the utility with a mal-wareprogram. In fact, I recommend it!
what i can help this...
you select safe mode and remove video driver and reboot your laptop...if it inside the windows normally,try to remove some unused toolbar in add and remove programs..and check also for virus scan..and reboot computer..
If I understand you correctly you get a DOS screen asking for your password. If this is correct, its asking for the BIOS password. Actually your better off with a BIOS password than you are with a windows password, its more secure. When you reboot your going to see a quick screen for entering setup, hit what ever F button they offer for this option. Choose password, erase or leave it blank(this will reset the BIOS password to a default of no password. If you want a BIOS password type it in here save changes and exit and you should be okay. I hope this helps.

For the life of me, I don't remember where I originally got this utility, but it works.
Anyway, it's a possibility of a solution, but you gotta trust me on this and trust is almost as rare as honesty, especially in this faceless media. I won't be offended if you ignore this or scan the utility with a mal-ware program. In fact, I recommend it!
When you remove the battery from the motherboard wait after few seconds (30), reboot your computer without the battery and press the BIOS key (F1 or F10 or DELL key) will not ask you any password. Turn it off and Then put back the battery.
