You might have to convert the pictures into a format that can be copied onto the dvd's you have. Using the kodak easyshare program, try and find an option in the menu that should say something like convert to and select that option. Then select a format of mpeg4 or jpeg and then try and transfer them to disc. If you can not find that option on the menu, right click on an image that will not transfer and see if you find that option.

Looks like ya might need some software to help you.I took 10 seconds of my life and found an interesting site. See burning cds is complicated and without the propah stuff to do it you is sol. Enter CDburnerXP, an easy way to burn baby burn.
I ain't got a cd burner and have never done it before but I saw my boss burn backup files to a cd burner once. You need software to guide ya through the process and I guess this one will do as good as any.

What program are you using to burn the pictures? Are you burning to a CD or DVD? What type of CD or DVD are you burning to?

I want to download pictures from a digital camera on to my compaq presario cq56 but cant find memory card slot

Hi samantha_hic,
Actually, the memory card slot that you have in your laptop is not for storage devices but for your computer RAM. If you would like to transfer pictures from your digital camera, you have 2 options.
  1. I assume that when you bought your digital camera, it comes with a USB connector. Use that USB connector to connect your camera to your laptop for your to be able to transfer pictures.
  2. Buy a memory card reader, take out the memory card from your digital camera and put in on the memory card reader then connect it to your computer via USB. Once connected, you can now transfer pictures from your camera's memory card to your computer.
Hope this helps.

I don't know hot to turn on my built in webcam

Hello Byron,

You can use the built in camera in Compaq Presario PC Notebook by installing software for web cam.

If you are using Win XP then it had a built in webcam viewer, just by double clicking the camera in my computer.

I have a Compaq Presario 2500. When I turn it on it asks for a bios password. I don't have one. How can I get the password removed? I'm unable to load any software.

You'll have to take the computer to an AUTHORIZED HP / Compaq repair center to have the bios password reset.

If you're the original owner I would try my best to get it removed for FREE since it literally takes them seconds to remove it.

Can I take video from my digicam/burn it DVD w/my Presario C500?

As long as your computer supports the video format (probably .mp4) and you have the right cables to connect it to the computer (probably miniUSB-USB) and the proper software (probably Nero), and a DVD burner, then yes! You most certainly can. There are many guides available on the Internet for copying videos and burning DVDs.
