Download for my DVD player

You say you are downloading videos? If you are talking about YouTube videos you will need a program that can capture the streaming video that YouTube sends to you; there are dozens of programs out there that will do this, just Google "Youtube Video Download". This will give you many options to choose from. Once you have the video file captured you will have to decide how to watch it. If you plan to watch it via your DVD player you can use a DVD authoring program to convert the files into the MPEG2 format and then create the proper VOB files and burn them to a DVD. If you have a newer DVD player or, even better, a BluRay player you may be able to play the captured video files without creating a DVD. You will have to figure out what video file formats your player can read. Once you know which formats then, when you capture the Youtube files, make sure you save them in one of the supported formats. Then you will only have to burn these files to a DVD to play them, skipping all the work of converting to MPEG2 and authoring a proper DVD. If your player has a USB port you just copy the files to a USB Flash Drive to play them on any compatible player.

The picture is unsupported format

If you want a picture on your Sansa Fuze that is not in the correct format, you need to use the Sansa Media Converter to change it. Click the link to download it.
Sansa Media Converter:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4431/~/downloading-and-launching-the-sansa-media-converter
Note: You may need to restart your computer after the converter is downloaded.
Now let's start the actual process of changing the format.
1. Connect your Fuze to your computer via your USB cable 2. Select Sansa Media Converter using Sansa Media Converter on initial connection. 3. Click "Add Media" to select the photo that you wish to convert. 4. Click "Apply". 5. The converted file(s) are stored in a folder entitled "My Album" 6. Click "Sansa Player" if you wish to save the photo directly to the player, or "microSD Card" if you want to save it to a card you have bought for this player. 7. Press "Convert" to start the conversion.
And there you have it, you can use this for any photo or video you need to convert.

How to download music video from pc to mp4?

Hello

The Internet is full of great places to find MP4 downloads. Check out sites such as iTunes to find a video or file you like, and then click the download button.

A dialog box will appear reading, "You are about to download the file "name_of_file_you_are_downloading _will_appear_here", are you sure?" Click "OK" to start downloading.

A File Download pop-up screen will appear again, asking "Do you want to open or save this file?" Click the SAVE button to save the file to a specific location on your computer (be sure to remember where you save it!).

Once you've saved the file to your computer, connect your mp4 player to your computer,go to "my computer"you will see your mp4 player among the list of drives.Click to open the drive then you can click on the file you downloaded and drag it to your MP4 player and enjoy!

If the file you've downloaded isn't in the correct format for your player, you may need to convert it before adding it to your MP4 player. Basically, you'll repeat Step 3, and save the download to a file on your computer, then convert it and add it to your MP4 player. See your instruction manual for details, or search the internet for a free MP4 converter to reformat the file. This process is quick and easy and should only take a few quick mouse-clicks.

Good luck

My problem is my sharper image mp4 player isn't download videos

If it's not downloading videos, first you need to check the requirements. If you're trying to download a video from the computer to your MP4, you have to make sure that the device has enough space to accept the video.

Example: the video size is 700MB, but you only have 600MB remaining storage on your MP4, then the device could never afford a file size that is larger that the free storage.

Check the supported file format of the device. Refer to the user manual of your device to see what are the supported video file formats. Let's say the device could support .avi file, but you are trying to download .3gp or other file format, the device would not accept it.

Kindly refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer for more details about your device.

Thank you!

I am trying to download from my computer onto my new mp610-g and when trying to play the downloaded files, get the format error. what do i need to do?

Hello,
The support site for the MP610 can be reached here:
http://www.cobyusa.com/?p=prod&prod_num_id=212&pcat_id=1001
Under Downloads there's:
A firmware update for File Sys Error and a video converter for converting videos before transferring them to the player.

To get the matching formats for the player:

1. Get the video converter for the MP610:
http://www.cobyusa.com/files/software/VideoConverter_MP610.exe
For getting this execute file right click it and select "Save Target As..." for saving it to location on the computer. Use the converter
for all videos before transferring them to the player.

2. Use the Coby Media Manager for transfers of all media.
A download for this Media Manager can be found here:
http://www.digdash.biz/product/coby/coby_media_manager/install/coby-mediamanager-2009b0924.exe
For getting this execute file right click it and select "Save Target As..." for saving it to location on the computer. After that run the execute file to install Coby Media Manager.

For a setup of your player in the manager:
Run Coby Media Manager
Select in Tools > Device Manager... in the devices list the MP610.
Add the MP610 to the favorite devices.
To setup the output file format for the MP610 select under the DEVICE menu in Coby Media Manager the Device configuration.
Setup format for video is MTV (cannot be changed for the MP610)
Setup format for audio is selectable 96 kbps; 128 kbps; 192 kbps.

When this information helped, I'd appreciate your vote.
If you need more assistance, just add a comment.

When I save videos to my computer's hard drive...

You may need to format the memory card in the video camera to save as mpeg. This would be in your menu options. Typically it saves in a file to view and the extra attachment is the digital finger print that it can read from. If this doesn't work, try downloading the file into a different viewer instead of the windows default player. You should also be able to "save as" a different format from within the windows media player.
Let me know if this helps.

Actually that might be possible. If you're downloading movies in the proper format already all you would have to do is choose the file destination correctly. In this case the destination My Computer:E or F(depending on your installed drives):SomeFolderName:

So if you're downloading movies with let's say LimeWire or some other P2P software you can actually set the file destinations for each type of file as well and so long as your device is plugged in at the time that is exactly where the file(s) will be saved.
