Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
Iam getting error code f11
F-11 is communication error between the Motor control unit and the Main CCU. Either of these or both could be bad. Sometimes unplugging all the connections from the CCU (under top panel) and plugging them back in will fix the problem. If fixed, there's a bad connection at the CCU.

Hi! i had the same f11 code on my whirlpool duet and i fixed the problem by taking a q-tip and a little rubbing alcohol to the connection point where the door latch closes into the washer. (I cleaned both the washer side...you have to extend the q-tip inside until it hits the plastic part, and the actual latch) Mine was full of dark muck! I first used a damp q-tip and moistened the area really well then i used several dry ones and just kept wiping until the area was clean. I used rubbing alcohol and not water because it evaporates quick. Like magic the washer is back to working great! Hope this helps!

I appreciate your post, Dale Miller!
From what you have described your Frigidaire range is displaying an error code of "F11" and you are receiving an alarm. Normally an "F11" error code stands for a shorted keypad. I would suggest performing a reset and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for roughly ten minutes. If you restore power and continue to receive an "F11" error code you may need to replace your control panel. I would recommend having a professional do so, they will be able to properly disassemble your range and accurately replace the electrical component to not damage anything internally on your range. I hope this information is helpful to some degree. -Matt

I appreciate the post, dan moore!
From the information you have provided your Frigidaire range is displaying an "F11" error code. Typically, the "F11" error code stands for a shorted keypad. This could be a false error code and the best way to clear any false error codes is to disconnect power from the range for at least ten minutes. If you continue to get an "F11" error code you may need to replace your EOC (Electronic Oven Control), I would recommend having a professional technician come out to properly replace any electrical component to avoid personal injury. Hope this information is helpful to some degree. -Matt

Hello friend, thank you for your post!
I understand that you need troubleshooting steps for an "F11" error code. "F11" stands for a shorted keypad and one step for troubleshooting is to reset your range. You can reset your range by flipping the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes. If that does not help correct the "F11" code I would recommend you reach out to a professional for proper diagnosis because it could an issue with your EOC (Electronic Oven Control) or wiring harness. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Hi Ken Kazemi - Typically error code F11 indicates a shorted keypad. Try resetting the range by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. This usually will clear most false error codes. Wait approximately ten minutes and if it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately. Most likely the EOC on the range will need replacing.
