What's your problem?i have a rca tv model number d52w14 and it will not turn on just the power button comes on and goes off three times?

The set actually has a "3 strikes and you are out design".

It will try three times and if fails shut the set down.

This model is prone to bad solder connections at and near the high voltage transformer---also to bad parts in that same area which include: the transformer, the sweep transistor near it, and the high voltage splitter block it feeds.

Where is the convergence fuse located on a RCA M# R52WH76

Right to the right side of the flyback. You will see three small brown rectangle ( fuses) FL221, FL231 and FL251 the center fuse is the FL231 which is the fuse for convergence. I am posting a pic of where its located.slinteriors_14.jpg

Does the rca 52950 have the fl231 fuse? If so where is it located? If not which fuse controls the convergence. I fixed my newer model tv with the fl231 fuse but I dont see it in this tv.

no the fl231 fuse is only for model itc222 rca's . these older set unfortunately do not have that fuse convergence is contolled by a sepreated cuircit board. also these set have no stk ics that are common for most set that control convergence. it uses a series off transistors.

Is rca r52wh74 and rca d52w14 flyback interchangeable??

No you will need the 270125 Flyback for the R52WH74 as thats a ITC222A chassis. The D52W14 is the ITC222 and uses the 259296 flyback.they are not interchangeable

The RCA model D52W14 has a blurry picture, like one or more of the bulbs is out of alignment. Can't even see menu screen to test color or contrast.

you have multiple images and the pic is bowed and curved at the top id guess
you have a convergence problem
there are several things to check
the usual problem is the connections on the flyback transformer at pin 11 12 of course while your there soldering them refloat all of those connections
and check the fuses near the transformer there are three of them

My d52w14 wont turn on at all anymore it got unplugged from the wall and when i plugged it back in there was a pop and i saw the electricity between the socket and the tv. the green light doesnt come on...

you have shortcircutted a fuse either on the plug or internally

its a quick and cheap fix should be less than £50

unless you have damaged some other stuff in it but you shouldnt have unless it was faulty and the fuse wasnt working properly

it works like the circut breakers in your house but the fuse needs to be changed everytime it is activated

D52W14 power button blinks 3 times

Yes make sure you get correct flyback, call UED 1-800-648-6657 see if they have part; also are you sure that is what is wrong?Check capacitor cp150 2200uf 16 v see if it is ok or if it is bad this cap if bad will keep set from coming on,and if it is bad there is 2 other capacitors that need to be replaced also.
