Question about Fuji FinePix S5000 Digital Camera

Irregular picture My camera looks like it is a tv screen going bad. It shows moveable lines like static.

    In the begining it showed lines all over the picture and now the pictures are totally white! Lately, on the screen, it looks like a night vision setting before I take the pic - if I see anything at all the before it take the pic, the image is in green and black.

If it is not showing anything i mean u take pic and it is black or dis colored or lines on it its a CCD failure u cant help it go to fuji repair centre and bang on their head its a hardware fault 1000's are facing

Check if you can take pictures , if you can take picture the same and tranfer them to computer, then it is either a faulty lcd display, or the display cable out of place

i have a similar problem, is the screen white with occasional lines that look like a badly tuned digital tv? my tv out works so I am guessing its a LCD problem, try replacing the LCD like I am doing...

Pictures are totally black

It seems you have a bad ccd imager and requires replacement.

go to your nearest service center and ask for replacement.

If your camera is Canon A85, then it has problem of bad CCD Imager Sensor this part will be replaced.

LCD screen shows weird colours


Gimbo again. Think LCD damaged will need to repair. Pics. as normal when viewed or printed.
Why has nobody commented?

Lines, blurry not sure what is going on.


sounds like a bad CCD, try shooting in B/W to see if it helps.

Display screen problems.


Either the LCD or the connector/connections are at fault.Check them physically for a loose connection due to humidity or dust. Replace LCD and we can help for original LCD and instructions. mail us further. Siva

Static or lines running across viewfinder


Do they transfer when you upload the pics? Usually, on these models, when you get the funny lines on the screen and/or in pictures, it's the main PCB in the camera that is faulty. Unfortunately, Fuji's parts costs are out of this world. Call them up to get a flat rate repair. Sorry
