The interior window of my KitchenAid KESH307GBL0 cracked. I ordered the part and I'm trying to replace it, but I don't know where the two angle brackets go and the two flat brackets. Also, it is loose at the vent.

How do U remove the Interior light covers on a 2002 Dodge Intrepid. tried using a screwdriver and pushing left and it did not work

If you're talking about the map lights (2 lights in between driver and passenger)

If you have just the map lights, just pull the whole assembly out. Don't worry about anything breaking, just pull it down, just not at an angle or anything. It easily snaps back into place after. Bulbs can be removed once you have it out.

If you have an overhead console, you remove a screw towards the front of the overhead console Then just pull. If you're talking about other interior lights, let me know I'll let you know how to remove it.

Kitchenaid 36" glass cooktop with small crack

A small crack, turns into a big crack, Short of ordering a new piece of glass, there is no "fix" sorry. YOu can continue to use it, but eventually it will run across the cook top, and then shatter the glass... Better be safe than sorry.

Mixer has a broken gear or tooth in the head.

Hi. You have experienced the problem that many hundreds of kitchenaid mixer owners have. No doubt your mixer began having problems while you were mixing bread or cookie dough. Kitchenaid advertises that these mixers can handle these types of dough, the brutal truth is they cannot, for one very important reason. The cheap plastic transmission housing has failed, and as a result has caused damage to your mixer's transmission.

This cheap plastic part supports two of the most important shafts and gears in your mixer and has no business being installed in a high priced mixer. Heavy doughs place enormous stresses on these gears and shafts and this plastic part is not up to the task, Kitchenaid knows this of course, but refuses to issue a recall notice.

If your mixer is still covered by warranty, call Kitchenaid's so-called customer satisfaction dept. and demand a mixer replacement with a METAL transmission housing.

If out of warranty, unplug the mixer and don't use it. Remove the silver band from around the head of the mixer, then remove the four screws that secure the cover, remove it. At the front top of the mixer locate the transmission cover, if it's made of a shiny metal, you're in luck. If it's made of plastic, examine it carefully for cracks around the mounting screws or anywhere else on the housing. If you find cracks, you have found the culprit that has caused untold internal damage to yoúr mixer

If you are up to the task of repairing it, go to the website and do a search for your model's parts catalog. Download it, it will help with the disassembly and reassembly of the mixer.

You'll need to remove virtually all of the old grease. Remove the trans. components and wipe them clean, in order to correctly assess damage. When you determine which parts need replacement, you must insist on a metal housing when ordering parts. Try for parts. You can also order parts from Kitchenaid...Just be prepared to wait at least a month for them to arrive from Kitchenaid! "For the Way It's Made"?

Finally regrease with Chevron FM ALC EP-2 a Food Grade lube.

Be sure to tell the people at Kitchenaid what you think of their cheap plastic housing!

If this solution has assisted you, please rate it. Good luck! ricardok45

Interior Range Window cracked - How to Replace

It is simple enough not to need a manual.
1- open the door, then pull outwards. The door mounts slide right out.
2- lay flat on a towel on the floor. Remove screws on the inside of the door.
3- remove each piece and layer of the door and glass panels. Set them aside in order so you know how it goes back together
4- replace broken inner glass panel
5- put each piece back together, install screws
6- slide door (mounts) back into their homes on the front of the range

It is surprisingly simple. All you need is a #2 Phillips screwdriver and a bit of patience.

Tip: make sure to clean each glass panel while you have the door apart. Use a razor blade for those stubborn burnt on stains.
