My speakers were working perfectly. I moved my pc from one room to another. When I reconnected everything and tried to listen to my music i had no sound. Then a message popped up and said does not recognize the adapter please install the software. Where do I get the software for the adapter? I dont have a cd for it.

I am having trouble finding a place to purchase just the plug for my speakers. I moved my computer to another room and when I hooked them back up the plug started smelling like it was burning. I just wanted to know where to get just a plug.

I moved and of course disconnected my computer. As I try to reconnect color to color, i get no green light and no sound. How do I reconnect?

reconnecting speakers only requiring into the single port in back of the cpu and plugging in the ac cord. Powering the speakers on. If no sound make sure port is plugged in in back of cpu, restart. Power on speakers should have sound. If not write back to clarify.

No sound output except for during test.

Did you check in control panel on the status of your audio settings?

Open audio devices in control panel. click on advance , then click on the drop down bar and select 5.1 . click apply, then OK then and close it .
post if that does not do it.

First unplug the speakers, and then go to the page of the manufacturer's,.
if you cannot find the disc with the drivers.,and download s new copy of the drivers..
Then install it and then shut down the computer and plug in the speakers.. that should do IT.

NO SOUND

the make and model of your computer dont matter to what speakers you hook up. i can take those speakers and plug them into my ipod, my computer, even my psp and will work.

i would first check ALL wiring and make sure is all conected corectly.

try plugging them into your ipod/mp3 and see if you hear sound? if not, its the speakers. If yes lets move on.

Plug them into your audio jack on your computer (THE BACK, Green audio Jack) usually your front audio jack if you have one is set to head phones and your rear audio jack is set to speakers.

Plug them in.

Go to Start, Control Panel, Sound.

Now make sure your speakers are conected and it notices it.

Me i have 3 Input devices that show up.

1) Speakers
2) Headphones or Audio 2nd Output
3) Digital Output

If you plug them into the back they will most likely but under #1.

Click Option #1 or the one that is labeled speakers and says "plugged in"

Towards the bottom select, Set As Default.

Apply Changes, Ok, and exit.

Now try listening to something on your computer.

If this still doesnt work, let me know.

Thanks

Unwanted sound from subwoofer.

switch your subwoofer off from the socket for at least 30 minutes and check if the noise is still there,if its still there open it and play a movie then press it lower if the sound stops then you will have to put some toilet papers at the back of it ,thats what I did to mine.
