Re: 1317150009709 frigidaire dryer0how do i get at the...
There are 2 house fuses in the dryer circuit. If 1 of the 2 fuses is blown, the drum may turn but the heater will not operate. Gas supply valve is not open (gas models). Dryer does not have anough air supply to support the burner flame (gas models). LP gas supply tank is empty or there has been a utility interruption of natural gas (gas models).Replace fuse. Check to make sure supply valve is open. See INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS for procedure. See INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. Refill or replace tank. Dryer should heat when utility service is restored

I would first clean out the lint trap. Then pull the unit out and clean out the duct work venting to the outside of your home. If there are kinks in this duct work, or too many curves, bends, turns, etc, then the unit is working way too hard to dry. This can cause the unit to overheat and burn out.
Hi, No pilot light just a hot surface ignitor that starts the fire in there... get the model and serial of your dryer and then do a search for the year... it will come up...
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heatingthe most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glowssometimes it is still not working properly.
if you dryer is gas check out this gas no heat tip....
If you have an electric dryer, you can have many differentthings that can go wrong causing the dryer not to heat.
check out this electric no heat tip...
My guess is you probably got some lint on the ignitor and cause a burnout or a limit to trip. If you don't hear the clicking associated with the ignitor heating up and the flame sensor kicking it off then I would check to see if maybe a limit was tripped. On gas dryers when the limit trips the dryer will operate but simply will not heat up. I have a full page with service manual included HERE
Hi there. Soon as the pilot switches off (will still be red hot but fade away rapidly) the gas valve should turn on. (make sure gas supply is on) If valve doesn't turn on, check sensor located very near pilot element. When the sensor "feels" the heat of the pilot, it switches the pilot off and the gas valve on. Thanks Paul
The ignitor can glow and still be defective.
Take a volt meter and check for power at the gas valve while calling for heat.
If you have voltage, replace the coils again.
No voltage, replace the ignitor and flame sensor.
